Q: Is this legal to do in the United States?
A: Gaming laws vary from state to state and country to country, but there are millions of people in the US using foreign-based sports books to wager. Check your local regulations -- but there is no law that specifically makes it illegal for US citizens to use online sportsbooks. The recent laws don't address gambling -- what they address is the methods by which US consumers fund their gaming accounts. And while some financial processors no longer allow electronic transferring of funds as a result, this is hardly a deterrent to InvestaPick clients, who aren't depositing and withdrawing as much as the average gambler. In addition to using an authorized payment processor, you can send a cashier's check, or use Western Union (for which the sportsbooks will often refund any cost it takes to make the transfer...and it can often be completed in an hour or two).

Q: How much does it cost to become a InvestaPick member?
A: Membership is $49 per month per Index (we have 3 picks indexes, IPE, IPC, and IPW), we also offer all 3 indexes for a flat rate of only $119 per month (save 20% monthly). However, your first 7 days for the index of your choice is completely free, with no obligation (and no credit card required). See the Pricing page for more details.

Q: What are my tax implications?
A: It is your responsibility to report any earnings you make through the use of InvestaPick advice to your local or national government tax agencies. Please be responsible and pay your taxes!

Q: How much money do I need to commit? (What should my "starting balance" be?)
A: There's no cut-and-dried answer to this question. While you should absolutely have the entire amount you're committing to the InvestaPick system available (this amount is your "starting balance"), realistically, you shouldn't need to "tap into" the entire amount.

Note that InvestaPick suggests a wager for you based on the amount of your starting balance -- if you have a starting balance of $250, your wagers will be 1/10 of the amount of the wagers shown on this sample account (our results are based on a $2,500 starting account). We recommend a "starting balance" of at least $2,500 to start, but it's entirely up to you. The average starting balance of our clients is around $5,000 (with some clients well over $50,000). Note that your InvestaPick subscription costs exactly the same, regardless of what you've declared your starting balance to be.

Q: How often does InvestaPick make a pick?
A: InvestaPick never generates more than one pick per index per day. Typically, there are between 3 and 5 picks per index per week.

Q: When will I receive a pick?
A: Be sure to log into the InvestaPick.com Web site and click on "My InvestaPicks" -- if the InvestaPick system has made a pick, it will show up in your "My InvestaPicks" section. Usually by 2:30pm EST time, if a pick is available for that day, it will be posted in your "My InvestaPicks" section. Also, if you look on the home page, we have a pick status indicator to let you know when picks are posted daily, if any.

Q: How do I renew my membership?
A: Each month (once you become a paying customer), your membership is automatically renewed for you on the anniversary date of when you purchased (if you purchased on the 14th of the month, you'll be billed on the 14th of each successive month). If you want to cancel, just tell us before your next "anniversary" and we'll take care of it for you and ensure you're not billed again.

Q: I wasn't able to follow your recommendation today! What do I do?
A: It's OK, just follow the next InvestaPick selection, but try to stay disciplined and follow the InvestaPick system consistently.

Q: I'm making my wager, but the line that I see isn't the same as what you've suggested?
A: InvestaPick selections are made at around 2:30pm EST time. Between the time the pick is made and the time you're able to place your wager, it's very possible that the odds or the line may have changed (say, from "-110" to "-117", or from "OVER a total of 192 points" to "OVER 195"). Our guidelines in these cases are as follows: regardless of how far the odds move (in your favor, or against), you'll still take the selection (even if it moves from -110 to -140). For spread picks, you'll still take it UNLESS the line moves MORE THAN 4 POINTS against you (in the case of "OVER 192", take it all the way up to 196).

Depending on the sportsbook you use, the faster you get the game after we issue the pick, the less likely the odds will move up or down. But don't worry too much if you don't get the exact odds; sometimes, they'll move up (against the selection), and sometimes down (in your favor). It evens out over time.

The key is that you risk the exact amount you're told (if you're told to RISK $160, that's the total amount that you should have at RISK -- you're not trying to WIN $160).

Q: Is it acceptable to bet a higher or lower wager than you suggest?
A: Yes, although it's not recommended. Doing so will change the entire system, but we can't stop you from betting higher or lower but it is not recommended.

Q: Can I increase the total bankroll for my account once I have started?
A: Of course, it's up to you. Once you get comfortable with how everything works, you'll probably want to increase your balance and bet amounts.

Q: What if I have a disagreement about my results?
A: Please contact our Customer Service department.

Q: I want to cancel my account.
A: Please contact our Customer Service department.

Q: What's the difference between InvestaPick and other companies that sell their picks?
A: InvestaPick is not a gambling service. Gamblers don't use InvestaPick because the system doesn't provide immediate returns -- that's the "rush" that gamblers need. InvestaPick is a system that provides consistent results over time -- it's not about "10 star picks" or "locks". No one single game is going to make or break our system.

Q: What are the IPE, IPC, and IPW indexes?
A: These are the 3 InvestaPick picks indexes. The IPE (InvestaPick East Index) consists of picks for games ONLY played on the east coast or eastern time zone. The IPC (InvestaPick Central Index) consists of picks for games ONLY played in the central states or central and mountain time zones. The IPW (InvestaPick West Index) consists of picks for games ONLY played on the west coast or pacific time zone.
